The idea of signals and noise is central to any communications, be they written, visual, or electronic. Our name derives from signal-to-noise ratio—a widely used measure of how strong and clear a signal is in relation to the ever-present noise.

Too much money is wasted every day producing marketing communications that get lost in the noise—too bland, too self-absorbed, too clever, too poorly designed and written.
