Dog’s Breakfast Fundraiser Benefits Milagro House Print E-mail
This years’ annual “Palooza,” held at SNR partner Jack Fliszar’s house on August 2nd, was a hit in several ways. More than 45 guests enjoyed great food, drink, and over six hours of live rock and blues music performed by the agency jam band, Dog’s Breakfast. Jack played drums and keyboard, and SNR creative director Bob Hofherr played guitar. They were joined by seven other musicians who played keyboard, bass, guitar, timbales, and congas during the open jam portion of the evening.

But the real beneficiaries of the “Summertime Blues-A-Palooza” were the residents of Milagro House, a Lancaster-based program serving homeless women and children. Palooza guests donated several hundred dollars, which directly benefited a woman whose infant daughter was entering the hospital for a week of tests. Says Renee Valentine, executive director of Milagro House, “Thank you all so much for the wonderful donation you made to benefit Ashley and her children. You sound like an awful good gang of guys and I hope to meet you all sometime in the future.”
